Congratulations to Gavin O’Rourke on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout this week at his Board of Review. He joins the ranks of filmmaker Steven Spielberg, astronaut Neil Armstrong, and NBA Hall of Famer and US Senator Bill Bradley in being among the 1.2% of students in his grade across the country to achieve this rank!
The CCHS Drama Club is starting to build and paint the set for the Spring Musical on Monday Feb 16th from 9am - 2pm on stage. Band lessons are cancelled today.
Physicals will be given in the nurse's office on Wednesday Feb 18. Please see the nurse to be put on the schedule.

Attention students! This Friday the 13th is Spirit Club's Valentine’s Day celebration. Students are encouraged to wear red or pink to show school spirit. Let’s see that Valentine’s pride! 
“It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together”. Do you need some romance in your life? Whether you’re excited for Valentine's Day, or you’re pretending that the ground hog just predicted it won't actually happen this year; come to the library conference room on Friday during lunch to finish screening the classic film Sleepless in Seattle. Sam and Annie's romance will thaw the coldest heart!
Learn to knit! Have you ever wanted to learn? Now is your chance. Join us on Feb. 23rd in the library at lunch to have 2 expert knitters (Mrs. Powell & Mrs. McCarthy) teach you to knit. Space is limited so if you’re interested please sign up in the library! We are so excited to welcome our expert instructors and retired Cornwall teachers to the library for this lesson! The Committee of Correspondence will meet on Feb 19 in the conference room in the library at lunch. Articles are available in the library. If you are in AP Lang or APUSH and would like to read and attend please grab your articles and start reading.
